The film was created for Season 7 of Motionpoems, an organization that pairs poets with filmmakers to “create hybrid artworks that connect with contemporary audiences in new ways”. I had the pleasure of working with Academy Award nominated DP, James Laxton (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk), to create the wonderful visuals for the film.
Shortly after the films release, it became an official selection of the inaugural 2017 CDDP / Commercial Director’s Diversity Program, and screened at the DGA Theatre.
